April is the Month of the Young Child

April 20, 2018

April is a special month for parents and educators because it celebrates the Month of the Young Child. Month of the Young Child is based on the National Association of the Education of Young Children’s Week of the Young Child. This annual celebration was created to focus on the needs of young children and their families. It is designated as a month to recognize early childhood programs and services that meet those needs.

At Right Steps Education, we honor Month of the Young Child in an effort to show our support for the childhood years. Our preschools in Bucks County are places for children to grow and learn in ways that will leave a lasting positive impact for years to come. At Right Steps Education, we understand that parents want the best experience possible for their children, so we create programs that cultivate a life-long love of learning.

Week of the Young Child began in 1971. It is still a perfect opportunity for families to take part in activities and celebrations that facilitate an awareness of children and their special talents. Month of the Young Child is a time for parents and educators to reflect on how they can better meet the needs of all young children and their families. In Bucks County, Month of the Young Child focuses on early childhood education, healthy kids, literacy and parenting.

This April, sing, dance, celebrate and learn through math, language and literacy to celebrate each child and the unique gifts that he or she brings to the world. If you want to find out more about Month of the Young Child, or if you want to learn more about the programs that Right Steps Education offers, stop in to our Bucks County location and discover what we have to offer. We are always ready to have a conversation with those who are interested in our educational offerings.
