I’ve been working with children for six years now and within that time I’ve earned my CDA (Child Development Associate.). I feel that I have learnt a lot from these children as they have from me. “My name is Felicia Wright and I am a teacher in the infant room. I was a teacher for six years at an early childhood education center before I joined Right Steps. I have worked in every room from the infant rooms to the kindergarten rooms. I am currently in school for Early Childhood Education at Manor College. I love working with children and have two of my own that I love. I will treat each child with the same love and respect I give my own children.”- Felicia Wright

I studied at Holy Family University for Early Childhood /Elementary education. I have worked with children for six years. I also ran my own after school program at Rhawnhurst Elementary School. Butterflies; Infant Transition Room “Hi, my name is Niashia and I am a teacher in the infant transition room. I’ve been working with children for 8 years. I used to an Au Pair for several children and it was a great experience. I love teaching in daycare because I get to bond with a lot of children. My favorite thing to do with kids is art projects because they get to express themselves. “- Niashia

Froggies; The Young Toddler Room “Miss Mila: born in Moldova, Eastern Europe. I came to the US as an Au Pair (cultural exchange program), and I took care of three children between the ages of three months and three years. I’ve always volunteered for organizations that fought against human trafficking and child abuse. I strongly believe children are our legacy. As part of Right Steps I am looking forward to use all my knowledge and skills to make your children happy and smart citizens of the world.”- Mila
“My name is Amanda! I’ve been working with kids for many years in daycares, camps, and in home childcare. I have a psychology degree from Holy Family University; which helps with taking care of children. I love working with kids because it’s fun to watch them learn and gratifying to know that you’re the person who helped them further their education.” –Amanda
Giraffes; The Older Toddler Room “My name is Ashley Miller. I am 24 and have my BA in speech language pathology. I have been around children my whole life and enjoy working with them. My next step in life is to earn my master’s degree in SLP where I can continue to work with children in the future” –Ashley Miller

I have an Associate Degree in Elementary Education and am now pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education with a Spanish Minor. Turtle Nation; Pre School/ Pre- K Room “My name is Melissa Stavey; I recently received my Master’s in Elementary Education from Rosemont College. I started working with the toddlers and preschool age students while working my way through graduate school. After switching from museum education to the classroom, I still find field trips one of my favorite parts of teaching. I am very proud to be the leader of Turtle Nation and look forward to educating your children.”
“Ms. Patty; Ever since second grade I knew I wanted to be a teacher. My second grade was such, an inspiration to me and I would like to inspire children the same way. In May 2012 I graduated from Millersville University. I majored in Elementary Education and graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences in Education degree. I am a PA certified teacher and I’m thrilled to have joined the Right Steps family. I am joining Turtle Nation as one of their teachers. After graduating in 2010 with an Associate Degree in Arts; I decided to go full time working in childcare as I enjoyed educating children. I feel good knowing I can inspire children as well as having them inspire me. I plan on going back to school to further my education in Early Childhood. I am excited to be a part of this Right Steps team.”- Liz
“Hello my name is Ashleyann and I am the art teacher! I am a graduate of Moore College of Art & Design for women right here in Philadelphia. I have my degree in Art Education. I teach art based on art history showing works from the master to contemporary artist. I also teach the basics with the elements and principles of art. I feel art is a great out let that allows children to discover who they really are.” -Ashleyann
